Hiya’ll. I’ve finally updated my “big girl” website, so take a look if you please, at a holistic body of my work. Besides posting here on Tumblr, I never make efforts to spread word about my work, because I’m a self-deprecating bitch and never think I’m worthy of anything because I feel weird about that kind of self-promotion. And because my art is often extremely personal.
Lab: Art Meets Science
Assignment: Construct a themed Rube Goldberg machine that incorporates at least six mechanisms and that sends a golfball into the next group’s machine. Joseph Herscher (THIS GUY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOMIBdM6N7Q) was one of our guest critics for the final critique.
Waking Up is Hard to Do
My partner, Calvin, and I created a machine inspired by dreams and the process of sleep. The end result is meant to evoke factors of rising in the early morning.

Catching Shadows
Narrative Time
The narrative is based on the noble feats of a man named Don Ritchie who has talked over 150 people out of jumping to their deaths off the cliff of Sydney Harbor. Illustrating the concept of “catching lives”, I wanted to capture the process of one’s futile attempts at catching shadows projected against a wall, which represent those lost lives that could not be saved.

Never Let Me Go
Remembered Time
A labor of love, a ritual, resurrection, always with me
Plaster, cheesecloth, wax, Acrylic medium, paint, thread, cloth flowers, fluffy stuff, and wood
Yes, they are! Thanks so much for recommending to me the story about Victor! (I’ll admit I was mildly creeped out from researching children who were feral, kidnapped, abused, etc.)
